Dodo Demands SeaWorld Answer Hate Mail

Ever try having a conversation with the bathroom wall? In a truckstop bathroom with foul graffiti written on it?
Of course, but then you resort to blocking don't you? 
We didn't think so.

Yet, PETA super-fans over at The Dodo are demanding SeaWorld do just that. Essentially demanding that SeaWorld respond to what consists of The Dodo's thoughts about the marine park.

Anyone and everyone who loves animals can make a post on the Dodo, even you Eric, so its not just the thought of one thing - the Dodo, it is the thoughts of many individuals, even Seaworld fans write on there too. Fancy that!!

You see, leading up to the Super Bowl, GoDaddy released an ad online. The ad, which is an obvious spoof of the hugely popular puppy ads from Budweiser, features a puppy named Buddy who is lost and returns home only to realize he’s been sold via a website set up using GoDaddy.
Twitter and Facebook erupted with negative reactions to the ad citing the promotion of puppy mills and improper breeding.
GoDaddy began engaging those who tweeted at them about the ad. They explained their longtime work with animal shelters, volunteer efforts by GoDaddy employees and even noted that a loving family had adopted Buddy. It was by-and-large a rational conversation.
Well isn't that how it should be? 
If you have nothing to hide you defend yourself, well normal people do anyway, those who are honest enough to back up what they say. People like yourself, Stand with Seaworld, Podcast all run by ermmm you, Erin and Mike, block those who are armed with the facts, take a look down your own wall, there are many times people say they love learning facts, not just things you choose to tell them. Then there is Seaworld themselves who do exactly the same thing.

In steps PETA's official mouthpiece, a web publication called The Dodo.
Seeing controversy, they took a shot at SeaWorld.
 Rightly so as Seaworld even when addressing things lie upon lie. What company would use an orca who had 7 calves and only has 2 of them with her as an example of NOT separating mothers from their offspring?

Katina - 
First born Kalina was taken to do a tour of the Seaworld parks and not returned until she was 9 years old. Whilst away she had a calf of her own at the extremely young age of 7, 18 months gestation so she was 5 and a half years old and Seaworld allowed her to become pregnant. When Keet was 18 months old his mum was moved again as she was pregnant again. SEAWORLD SAID KEET BECAME DEPRESSED after her move but he was cared for by Haida 2 and made friends with Kuyquot and Katerina, despite that at aged 5 he was moved to away from them too.

She then had Keto - SEAWORLD SAID HE WAS MOVED OUT OF ORLANDO TO CORRECT HIS BAD HABITS he was 3. 
He stayed at San Diego for 9 months, then was moved to Ohio and then to San Antonio. He finally formed a bond with Kayla even fighting with Ky over her and was then reunited with his brother and they too became really close. Despite the bonds he made as he would have naturally been at his mothers side all his life, he was then sent to Loro Parque never seeing any of them again. People wonder then why he killed poor Alix Martinez, Seaworld knew he was messed up as they tried to correct his bad habits, who gave him those bad habits? Even though they knew about Keto they still let the trainers in Loro Parque swim with them, being supervised by Brian Rokeach didn't stop the death.

As you know the orca so well what possible reason was there to take Tuar from Kalina? He too would still be at his mothers side?

Then there is Skyla how old was she when Seaworld took her from her mother? 2, what was the reason for that??

When Kalina died from septicemia, she had none of her calves with her, why was that as Seaworld state they don't separate them??? Those 4 orca would have stayed in Katina's matriline after Kalinas death.
 
Katerina - Katina's second calf was taken aged 2, and sent to San Antonio, she died there aged 10. Why did they take her from Katina as Seaworld's lovely videos say they respect the mother and calf bond, and the simpering mother of 4 says 'we wouldn't do that' but they would and have. 
 
Taku was so messed up he mated with his own mother, producing Nalani a full inbred who can go nowhere as she will never be part of the breeding programme, if she ever is there certainly would be uproar as no respectable institution would breed an animal knowing they were full inbred. As you know them so well, how was that allowed to happen?? He died at San Antonio of pneumonia aged 14. 

Unna - where is Unna and how old was she when she was moved?? She has been on birth control since miscarrying her first calf. Why isn't she still with Katina?? 

Ikaika was only 4 when he was traded for 4 Belugas and sent to Marineland. After winning the court battle he was brought back to Seaworld, so why wasn't he brought back to the same tank as his mother as he would have been with her for life in the wild?? 

Nalani - beautiful Nalani can't go anywhere as she can never be used for the breeding programme due to being the result of mother and son mating. 
 
7 calves later she had Makaio, who is still with her. She should have all her calves with her and as 3 of them have died from septicemia, pneumonia and infection which then raises the question of how have these orca got those infections as Seaworld says their tanks are free from bacteria, infection and pathogens. Look through the causes of death for the other orca too, this is obviously NOT the case. 

To produce a video saying Seaworld are aware of the mother and calf bonds makes the situation so much worse, as ignorance could have been an excuse, now there is no excuse for separating these orca. 

Answer that one Eric, what sort of company would use that particular orca as an example of respecting the mother and calf bond? The only true statement in the above video is ''the truth is on our parks'' and it most certainly is as anyone can check the whereabouts of those orcas, and the necropsy reports for the others. 


What sort of company would say they were offended as Blackfish said they blamed Dawn for her own death, when the court transcripts of the case show they blatantly did?

“Instead of doing what SeaWorld did to combat negative publicity - deleting Facebook comments, blocking people from their social media accounts and creating a “Truth Team" - GoDaddy is thanking people for giving them feedback.” wrote The Dodo.
That is exactly what Seaworld did and what you do and still do!  Why do you do that are you frightened that those people Seaworld are clinging onto might actually find out the truth? Wouldn't it be better for Seaworld to actually address those issues rather than pretend they didn't happen or have the likes of you keeping people confused with your obsession with PETA and Dodo?

Wonder if GoDaddy got any of the hate tweets or Facebook comments, err… sorry “feedback”, threatening arson and shootings?

Wow indeed!!  You post comments which look like they are from the same conversation to be fair, and I post many different ones, there are worse ones I could find too all linking back to one of your pages, but there are thousands and thousands of comments that are not like that at all.
I have personally had people thank me for suprising them and not being what they had been led to believe.


The PETA posse at The Dodo can’t seem to understand why SeaWorld won’t respond to comments like these.
 Once again you back up all the allegations above about YOU fuelling this with just this sentence alone. Go look at Dodo as stated earlier ANYONE can post on there, including you, it is in no shape or form a PETA posse, but you once again lead people to attack it.

Normal people either ignore, delete, or report hateful and threatening comments like this. Not The Dodo. They demand SeaWorld say ‘Thank you for your feedback’.
They demand that Seaworld have some honesty and transparency as people can see straight through the lies they spin, especially you, which is probably why you fuel all this as you know your position against actual documented FACTS is now very weak and people can truly see Seaworld for what they are. Their lack of addressing anything put to them, or trying to cover it, just digs their hole deeper than it already is and you fuel that too.

After all, most of these people are PETA fans who read The Dodo.
What a load of biased rubbish and you know it too. Whats the problem are you frightened that those so close might learn a few things, see that they have been blindfolded by you and Seaworld's PR team, as it is all unravelling right before your eyes. You can block people from your pages but you cannot stop those fans from reading things like this blog or the DODO where they can look up facts for themselves. Seaworld will have to face the music over a lot of things as people uncover the truth and you, nor them can stop that.

Before you deleted his post stating it was a false profile, someone working for Seaworld gave you some very valuable advise, I suggest you read it again, it wasn't a false account at all as he replied to my request for confirmation.

Awesome Ocean's Eric Davis - First Response - LIE

As many know Awesome Ocean have a well known reputation for twisting facts, calling people names and have a ridiculous obsession with PETA which they use to try to distract from actual events that have happened in Seaworld tanks.

As many know from my blog, I have added in official links into their articles and debunked their ranting over and over again. (see below and check the links to documents yourself)

There are many more articles calling people names, Ellen Ericksen, Ric O'Barry, Ken Balcomb, Naomi Rose etc, but they are so easily debunked and so full of lies and twists they didn't even deserve debunking.

The most recent victim of his twists being that of Elizabeth Batt, who has nothing to hide, provided documents which Eric said would be amended but obviously weren't, and yet he has the cheek to call her over her reporting. Anyone reading Elizabeth Batt's blog on the Marineland issue and Digital Journals backdown who incidently were the only company out of eight companies/individuals who have a SLAPP suit pending to back down to Holer, can see for themselves that once again Awesome Ocean has it wrong.
In the words of Awesome Ocean when describing their article 

Eric Davis 'can kiss his dreams of being a respected journalist goodbye!
Because when activism mistakenly wears the robes of journalism, you can bet the truth will win in the end.' 

It most certainly will and in my own words Liars Never Prosper, Eric is himself an activist in the true sense of the word for Seaworld and LIARS ALWAYS get caught as Eric Davis has below.

Yesterday 20th Jan 2015 a very truthful post was posted on Awesome Ocean's facebook page, which showed how their 'fans' are starting to feel about Eric's obsession with Peta. Luckily I took a screen shot of it.

As you can see from the screen shot, it shows exactly what everyone has been trying to tell Eric Davis, none of the people complaining at Seaworld parks mention PETA, none of them, nor the activists associate what happens at PETA with what happens and has happened in Seaworld tanks. Many activists are not PETA supporters either but I guess it is easier for Eric to use them and their polices as a distraction rather than focus on and answer to the actual matters at hand - 45 orca deaths, 3 human deaths, why despite the rising floor Tilikum still would not let Dawn go, why Seaworld blamed Dawn in court yet say they didn't,  mother and offspring separation which is blatantly obvious as 4 of them live in Spain, if he addressed and answered those things and admitted the problems Seaworld created all by themselves, then he might be taken seriously, but that would mean having to do some proper research on official documents other than lying or distraction with PETA. Even his own fans are now speaking out.

During a twitter conversation yesterday between Eric and myself he proved just how easily those lies fall out of his mouth. Luckily I took screen shots of those too to provide as evidence.

LIE 1 Erics first response to this post was it was a fake facebook account and a fake comment.

On being challenged about that and shown that is WAS actually Awesome Ocean's facebook account,  he then moved onto
 LIE 2 
Stating then that the person is infact fake. Fake or not the fact is that the post WAS made on Awesome Ocean's facebook page my someone called Kevin Smith, his facebook account link was confirmed.

This thread of tweets shows how when Eric is confronted with facts he tries to twist away from them, moving from the FACT that the post was made onto the person who made it. Typical Awesome Ocean behaviour which is why their posts are so easily debunked. 

Shocking that his first defence is to lie, doesn't leave much credibility does it?

He chose to ignore the reply to his last comment but again, here was my reply.

 The about page on the Kevin Smith facebook profile states -

Whether this is an actual Seaworld manager really is irrelevant ,you can test the link above, it is an actual facebook profile and THAT person wrote the original comment on Awesome Oceans facebook page.

I then proceeded to message the owner of that account, emailed Seaworld, wrote on Seaworld San Diego and Seaworld Orlando's facebook pages and as yet have had no response from any. I am not however holding my breath as Seaworld religiously ignore posts and questions that do not earn them money.

After posting this to Eric as I have nothing what so ever to hide, he then moved on to
LIE 3

Other activists on my team??? Once again Eric misses the point that whoever Kevin Smith is, he wrote on Awesome Ocean's page telling them exactly what everyone thinks, note on the original it had also been liked by 6 other people.  The same has also been said on the Stand with Seaworld facebook page.  (see below) Yet Eric, Erin and Mike think they know best which leaves them wide open to be debunked and called out for lying over and over again.

Lie 3 how can it be a fake account when that person wrote the comment on THEIR facebook page. Doesn't matter what the person is called the FACT is they wrote it.

Finally even though Eric thinks he has nothing to hide he deletes the comment. The comments above and below can still be seen there now.

 Why would it be deleted?  His explanation leads to

 As per their guidelines?  What these guidelines?  -

 The guidelines say nothing about spam and as yet Eric doesn't know for sure that the account is fake as once again the FACTS elude him. Whoever wrote that post, wrote it from that account, the account is still there, the post was there so how is that spam?

As many can see this was not created by people passionate about the ocean, it was created by Eric Davis, passionate about Seaworld, passionate about PETA and passionate about trying to lead others astray with unproven things said over and over again.

Finally whilst waiting for confirmation responses from Seaworld and the Kevin Smith account holder, a lovely Seaworld fan who just wants to find the truth from both sides, adds her input to the tweets

She then also provides a link to where she found that park going friend.
After asking the question the reply came straight back as you can see below. 

 This Seaworld fan echo's what most of them are about she 'calls them as she sees them.'

As you can see from the Stand with Seaworld comments below,  Eric knows his, Erin McKinney's and Mike Madsen's obsession with PETA is too much, and the new writer Danielle Cookish seems pretty much the same, you can see her drivel here

Eric Davis and Awesome Ocean can not be taken seriously in any shape or form, even their own fans are starting to see them for exactly what they are and to lie and try to twist out of a situation over such a length of time, when the bottom line is, the post WAS written on the Awesome Ocean page, no matter who wrote it, just shows where their mind set actually is, response needed  --  lie.

As you can see from the about section of Awesome Ocean all the sites we know of that spout the same rubbish about PETA, Blackfish and spread rubbish waiting to be debunked with facts, all come from the same source Eric Davis, the very person who just had lie after lie fall out of his mouth, trying to avoid the FACTs yet again.

Well once again the FACTS are missing from this article by Eric Davis, which is usual to make something fit with the Seaworld PR agenda, so once again the links to the actual events are below. 


When a kid in Malibu, California forced the rest of her classmates to miss out on a day at SeaWorld because she was misled by Blackfish, it made national news.
Ever since that girl forced the radical agenda of animal rights groups like PETA, The Dodo and others, they have claimed that children are rejecting accredited zoological organizations in favor of a debunked documentary. Linking back to your own website isn't evidence is it, that was debunked too here

The girl that Eric accuses of ''forcing a radical agenda'' is 10 YEARS OLD. Outrageous really that Awesome Ocean would think it is alright to say a 10 year old was forcing such an agenda, when the actual article with the Principal says -

''The overnight trip to SeaWorld has been a tradition for fifth-graders at Point Dume Marine Science Elementary School in Malibu, California, for at least a decade, according to Principal Rebecca Johnson, but concerns from parents and students including one determined 10-year-old prompted a decision to go elsewhere on this year's trip.

Although Johnson mostly credited parents for influencing the change, several parents CNN spoke with said 10-year-old Kirra Kotler played a major role in the decision.''

Lets hope  Kirra doesn't read what Eric Davis says about her due to her young age, guess no one not even a child is entitled to an opinion different to that of Seaworld's!!

However, we are learning this isn't the case, and in fact quite the opposite is happening nationwide!
Children of all ages are rejecting the radical agenda being shoved in their faces and asking for alternatives. Not only are they analyzing the source material the school is presenting to them, they're demanding they be allowed to think critically by hearing both sides of the issue, which is a victory for anyone interested in education.
Hearing both sides of the story is a fantastic way of teaching the kids of today, schools will look up official documents and check all their information as that is what schools do. It certai ly will be an education as they will see Seaworld for exactly what they are which is what happened to most of the people who oppose Seaworld now. They will see that those who write blogs trying to support Seaworld pass the blame ON Blackfish or onto PETA, but the bottom line is PETA don't have captive orcas in tanks do they? Seaworld DO. Children have very inquiring minds and the penny will drop with them the same as it did with all of us that Seaworld are actually using PETA as the distraction as people don't like their kill policy, but at the end of the day their kill policy has nothing to do with why people protest Seaworld no matter how much the support pages like this one bang on about it .

I would be ashamed to label a child as a radical activist but Eric Davis and Awesome Ocean don't care who they call in their desperate attempt to try to make Seaworld seem relevant. It is shameful.

Austin and Goliath in San Antonio, Texas

When one of Austin's teachers announced that they would be required to watch Blackfish in school, Austin stood up and demanded that they allow a SeaWorld trainer from SeaWorld San Antonio to come in afterwards to comment about the film.
The teacher responded, "We don't have time for that." Austin quickly countered, "Then we don't have time for Blackfish." The teacher agreed and the class was spared 80 minutes of out-of-context YouTube clips and propaganda.

Chris Brings Keiko to Texas

When Chris learned about the new book "Killing Keiko" by Mark Simmons, he went straight to his school's library. When he found out it wasn't available, but other radical animal rights books were, he kindly asked if "Killing Keiko" could be included. The librarians happily agreed and ordered the book. It is now available to all the students at his high school.

We have begun to learn that students in Florida, California, Idaho, Utah, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and more are all requesting that their libraries stock Killing Keiko.

Stocking it and believing it are still 2 different things. Children will know there are many articles about Keiko which they can check and compare against as I did here.

Nikki vs. The Debate Team in New York, New York

 Nikki hasn't asked for her photograph to be removed but I removed it anyway it is still visible on the Awesome Ocean original article.

When Nikki learned that her debate team would have to debate "Pro: SeaWorld should be closed" she had to fight other class members to represent the "Con" which was to defend SeaWorld in the debate. After days of research and preparation, she ended the debate convincing numerous audience members from the rival school that SeaWorld does incredible good in the world and should NOT be closed!
These 3 stories are just the tip of the iceberg. There has been so much interest in SeaWorld's real story that SeaWorld has been piloting an education program that would allow their trainers to virtually talk with any classroom about the amazing animal care their animals receive.
It is a new era and children around the country are demanding that they get to hear both sides and learn the truth!

From the looks of some of the articles from Children and teens that Eric has chosen to miss from this biased article yet again, Children are indeed learning and hearing both sides in order to make a decision.

The newest child to speak out is 13-year-old student Phoebe Goldstein.
But this year at Alexander Dawson School in Lafayette, the itinerary was questioned by 13-year-old student Phoebe Goldstein. Every spring the school offers a variety of educational trips to both domestic and international destinations. This year, one option was going to San Diego to study species diversity with a stop at SeaWorld. As an animal activist, Phoebe was vehemently against supporting SeaWorld and made it her mission to eliminate that excursion. Officials at the school took notice, and worked with Phoebe, ultimately deciding to remove the outing. Full link here

Students ask Seaworld a lot of questions they want answering after watching Blackfish

"Dear SeaWorld, thank you for all your amazing memories,” a young woman begins. "The Shamu show…" says another student. "Dolphin point…" another says. One student thanks SeaWorld for "all the cute, cuddly teddy bears."

Then narrative takes a big turn.

A student explains that, "after watching the documentary Blackfish on CNN..." then another student picks up the line "…all of those memories have been totally cheapened."

Then come the hard-hitting questions.

"Is it true the orcas in your exhibits were kidnapped from their families?" asks one student. (The film’s star orca, Tilikum, who killed trainer Dawn Brancheau in February 2010 at the Orlando park, was snatched from his mother’s side in the waters off Iceland in 1983. In the subsequent 30 years, the 12,000-pound marine mammal has sired 54% of SeaWorld’s current orcas.)

"Is it true their lifespan is shortened in captivity?" asks another student. (Annual mortality rates for captive orcas are two and a half times higher than for wild whales).

"Is it true that there have been multiple attacks on trainers in your parks?" yet another asks. (The answer is a resounding yes, and will be the subject of oral arguments in federal appeals court in Washington, D.C. on November 12).

"Until these questions are answered,” the students continue, "there will be no more admission tickets... no more rides... no more teddy bears."

Bethany Fullerton of San Diego, a 15-year-old sophomore activist against SeaWorld, is a finalist for 2014 Cutest Vegan Alive.  

Zach Affolter was bullied being called a punk amongst other things by Kogo for asking his school board to cancel trips to Seaworld . Much like Eric Davis had done here with this 10 year old girl, calling her names too.

Parents speak out against Seaworld

Rose McCoy  aged 12 The seventh-grade honors student was arrested at the Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calif., on Jan. 1 after darting in front of a SeaWorld float 

Rose doesn’t plan to stop fighting for killer whales. She and her classmates at the Clinton School for Writers and Artists in Chelsea have formed the school’s first animal-rights club and plan to spread awareness of “Blackfish.”

In 2012 A judge ruled against Seaworld form
''The Florida Supreme Court ruled in 2008 that parents can't waive liability if their kids get injured in these activities, but still places like SeaWorld won't take our kids unless we sign the documents. Fortunately judges seem to understand that a parent does not send her child to SeaWorld in the expectation she may never see her again.''

There are many many children out there against Seaworld who are NOT radical activists and don't deserve to be called as such. It is about time Eric Davis, Awesome Ocean, Stand with Seaworld, Seaworld Podcast and Seaworld themselves realised that people have strong opinions and reasons to not advocate for Seaworld anymore and calling them names in any form whether children or adult is not called for, nor does the Seaworld PR machine any favours what so ever. 

Seaworld and the social media sites above chose not to engage with those people, block them, delete comments,  not to answer those children and to resort to name calling as a means of defence. Regardless how much they try to deflect the attention onto another organisation those focused on doing the right thing for those orcas know that they protest because of Seaworld themselves, not because of PETA or Blackfish but because of Seaworld and the quicker those who resort to calling a child like this realise that the better it will be all round.

They all have nothing to do with Blackfish and all to do with the reasons YOU gave for leaving Seaworld, yet in the Qand A's you said it was because of family, so which was it and if it was because of family are all these interviews lies as you repeat the same things over and over.

Then there is this interview with John Hargroves where you talk about how badly Unna was treated, having a fetus drop from her in a show and continuing the show!

This one given to Yahoo News you say conditions at San Antonio were atrocious and John Jetts account of Orlando was SPOT ON 

 The reason I picked these 4 interviews was because the comments you made had nothing what so ever to do with Blackfish. You gave those statements as your reasons for leaving Seaworld. 

Whether you had issues with Blackfish is irrelevant to any of the above interviews, so why did you say the things you did about Seaworld themselves and the way they treat those orcas?? 

 I have asked you many many times and each time you decline to answer, if you are speaking the truth now as you say on the Q and A's then which part is truth and which is lies. 

Are the reasons you give in the interviews above true? 

Did Unna lose 3 calves not one like Seaworld said? 

Are those orcas workhorses for a profit hungry industry?

Do you think the breeding programme should be stopped?

Do you think they should stop being used for entertainment? 

None of those things were covered in your Q and A's and lets face it who really expected them to be?

Tumblr had this to say about you and I think it pretty much sums up what has been going on, one minute pro cap, one minute anti cap.

It’s obvious everything she says is biased and set to her agenda. She is pro captivity when it suits her and anti captivity with it suits her. That is why nothing she says can be trusted or taken seriously.''

As for your comments on Keiko, this has already been questioned and there are numerous other people who were involved in the project with Mark who say differently to him,  and even the likes of Robin Friday said it was a success. See for yourself here .

Your reasons for leaving Seaworld and the reasons for not getting along with Blackfish are two entirely different things, and if as you seem to be now,  you are a big Seaworld fan and advocate, then either that is a lie or the statements you made about the things that happened there are lies, so which ones are they Bridgette?
10 years is quite an achievement, but people think of you as flip flopping because at the moment that is what you are doing. I was hoping for the truth but once again didn't get it as those reasons for leaving were not even addressed, how very disappointing.
